The Dalmore 25YO 700ml

Under the watchful eye of our Master Distiller, the liquid is initially matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks. This gives its first base of soft vanilla and honey notes. The whisky is then transferred to Gonzalez Byass casks which have held 30 year old Matusalem oloroso sherry. Here it spends an extended period of maturation in the exquisite casks that are exclusively reserved for The Dalmore.

As is the style for the distillery, this expression features whisky aged in an intriguing array of casks, including ex-bourbon casks, tawny Port pipes, and even casks that previously held 30 year old Matusalem Oloroso sherry.

Highlands, Scotland - Dalmore 25 is matured initially in American white oak before a second maturation in a combination of Palomino Fino sherry butts and first fill bourbon casks then married together in bourbon barrels before a finishing period in Tawny Port pipes.
